Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The Cooperation Unit of Jakarta Transportation (Kopaja) is prepared to apply Rupiah-per-kilometer system under the management of PT TransJakarta. The application of the cooperation will start next month.

Chairman of Kopaja Nanang Basuki said, his party is willing to apply Rupiah-per-kilometer system to all Kopaja fleet. 
 
"Kopaja will cooperate with TransJakarta. We will be paid by Rupiah-per-kilometer. It will be functioned to fulfill the needs of public transportation, whether on the residential areas or main roads," Nanang said after a meeting with Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama in the City Hall, Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (6/24/2015).
 
Naning said his party has not sorted the deal on the tariffs for the system. Aside from that, in order to join the TransJakarta management, Kopaja has to comply with the applied safety standards.
 
Previously, the management of Kopaja had met with Jakarta Governor to discuss the revitalization of Jakarta's public transportation and the integration between Kopaja and TransJakarta. (Eps)
