Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Go-Jek is claimed to never lose from GrabBike. The Malaysian company is considered to never surpass the trust of passengers to Go-Jek.

Go-Jek CEO Nadiem Makarim is proud of the company he established. There is a basic and important philosophy maintained by Nadiem, which GrabBike does not possess.
"It is clear that we are the nation's homegrown company. That's the main idea. Since when Malaysian company can win over local company?" Nadiem said in Tulodong Atas, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (6/30/2015).
Moreover, Nadiem said local companies will never lose from Malaysia. He affirmed that Malaysia's GrabBike will never compete with Indonesian Go-Jek. Even sharper, he criticized GrabBike, which is considered as a plagiarism of Go-Jek.
"We are now leading from the Malaysian company. But they can only mimic us up to green color of the helmets and jackets," Nadiem said.
The GrabBike application was just recently active since May this year, while Go-Jek has started since 2010. However, GrabBike is an integrated service with GrabTaxi application which has been operating for a long time.
GrabTaxi is a service application which eases the public to acquire a taxi. The Malaysian company has three features, which is the usual GrabTaxi, GrabTaxi premium and GrabBike which also uses navigational system.
Currently, hundreds of people are also applying to become GrabBike driver. As known, currently GrabBike has gathered at least 2,000 drivers to serve Jabodetabek area. (Eps)
