Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Saudi Arabian government carries the impression of covering the identities of Mina tragedy. It has created uncertainties on the information on the victims and triggered worries.

"The origins of the victims were not yet conveyed officially, as there was an impression of it being covered up," said the member of Working Committee on Hajj Supervision of Commission VIII of the People's Representative Council, Maman Imanul Haq, Friday (9/25/2015).

The committee deplored the Saudi Arabian authority which has not released the official number of Mina victims. Saudi only conveyed the total number of victims, leaving the uncertainty of identity, origin country and gender.

"It is totally not transparent and worrying for hajj pilgrims," said Maman.

Maman urged that Indonesia is to convey a protest, remembering that Indonesia is a country with the most hajj pilgrims. "Jokowi should deliver a hard protest against Saudi Arabia, as Iran did," he stated.
