These Indonesian nurses are very well known for being meticulous and neat in performing their work.

"When I visited Los Angeles, USA, they said that they are happy with Indonesian nurses for being meticulous," said Khofifah when making a speech in front of NU PC followers in Malang, at the Ken Arok Stadium, Malang, Sunday (10/18/2015).

Sometime ago, Khofifah had just returned from Thailand to attend the celebration of World Food Day. During the visit, the Queen of Thailand conveyed similar ideas on the Indonesian nursing resources.

Thailand, Khofifah said, needs plenty of nurses for the hospitals there. Not only South East Asia, when visiting Geneva, Swiss, Khofifah had also heard similar ideas.

Moreover, she said, the Swiss hospitals have established work agreements with Indonesian government to supply nurses into the country. Up to 400 nurses are needed within a year, but the needs are not yet fulfilled.

"Madam Khofifah, this hospital needs Indonesian nurses. There was the MoU, a minimum of 400 nurses per year, while on the first year there were only 20 nurses who came. Second and third year were unfulfilled. It has been the fourth year," said Khofifah.

The trouble of meeting the demands of foreign hospitals are due to the international intelligence not owned by the Indonesian nurses. However, the quality of Indonesian nurses are very good.

"We have good quality, but we do not have international certificate yet," concluded Khofifah.
