The House Raises Fund for Haze Victim at the Plenary Session
Haze fills area ini Indonesia (Photo: AFP), Jakarta: Speakers of the People's Representative Council (DPR/House) gathered fund as a form of empathy towards the victims of the haze. The fund gathering was conducted at today's plenary session.

"Dear honorable ladies and gentlemen, we have witnessed the forest and land fire has become so massive, not only the casualties of the people, but also the large amount of fund to overcome it," said the Speaker of the House, Setya Novanto in the plenary session at Nusantara II Building, Parliamentary Complex, Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Friday (10/30/2015).

The Speakers of the House, Setya mentioned, urge members in showing their empathy to help the people who became victims of the haze in the form of donations, both directly or transfer.

"As a start, the Speakers will start to donate Rp10 million each," said Setya.

The Speakers of the House did not force the amount of money to be donated by the members. They urge the Muslim members to conduct Istisqa prayer, to ask for rain.

"Our prayers are also important, we would like to urge the House's employees and all attendees to conduct Istisqa prayer following the Friday prayer," Setya mentions.
