Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The data for the state income on October 2015 has just reached 57.2 percent. Automatically, the target of the 2015 Revised State Budget at Rp1,761.64 trillion will not be achieved. The shortfall will be at above Rp200 trillion, which will be covered by debts.

So, it is not surprising that until the end of September 2015, the government's debt rose to Rp3,091 trillion, from Rp2,608.8 trillion at the end of 2014. It means within nine months, the government has added debts as much as Rp482.2 trillion.

"Nevertheless, in the revised budget, the funding for debts was only Rp279.38 trillion," said the Deputy Chairman of Gerindra Fraction, Gus Irawan Pasaribu at the People's Representative Council (DPR) Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday (10/30/2015).

Deputy Chairman of Commission XI explained that the state income is dominated by taxes, as well as fees and levies. The realization of tax income up to 10/26/2015 has just reached Rp750 trillion, or 57.96 percent from the target, as the fees and levies income up to October 20, is as much as Rp123.48 trillion, or 63.33 percent.

Therefore, the tax income this year is predicted to be similar to last year, meaning only 80-ish percent of the last year's target of Rp1,489.26 trillion. "The establishment of income tax target in the 2016 State Budget, which is higher than 2015 Revised State Budget, is as much as Rp1,546.7 trillion is unreasonable," said Irawan.

Moreover, the macro economic conditions next year is predicted to be no better than this year. And if the target is approved, the deficit 2016 will explode.

"It is like pushing the government to add more debts next year. We do not want to inherit that much debts to the future generations," said Irawan.
