Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded Indonesia had USD364.4 million trade deficit in November 2015. Indonesia recorded USD11.16 billion exports last month lower than imports which was at USD11.51 billion.

BPS Chief Suryamin said this is the first time Indonesia had trade deficit in 2015.

"Trade balance in November recorded a deficit. This is the first deficit in 2015. We always recorded surplus from January until October," Suryamin said in a press conference, Jakarta, Tuesday (12/15/2015).

Suryamin said oil and gas sector recorded USD58.6 million deficit where crude oil recorded USD7.1 million deficit and oil products recorded USD827.7 million.

Meanwhile gas recorded USD776.2 million surplus. Non-oil and gas sector had USD287.8 million deficit.

Cumulatively, Indonesia still records USD7.81 billion trade surplus with USD138.42 billion exports and USD130.61 billion imports.

"Because the deficit in November was little. So the accumulation is still surplus," he concluded.
