Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) continued its slump in the first session today (12/18/2015).
 
JCI on Friday (12/18/2015) afternoon weakened 69.18 points or 1.5 percent to 4,486 points. While LQ45 weakened 15.02 points to 775 points and JII weakened 11.69 points to 588 points.
 
Profit taking still dominated the market until this afternoon. Consumer sector led the slump with 36.82 points followed by agriculture, manufacture and trade sectors.
 
Transaction volume reached 1.4 billion shares worth Rp1.3 trillion, 79 stocks increased, 164 stocks decreased and 70 stocks unchanged.
 
The top gainers were PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD) rose Rp525 to Rp7,525, PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) rose Rp400 to Rp51,900, and PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) rose Rp50 to Rp4,790.
 
While the top losers were PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) fell Rp2,100 to Rp94,300, PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) fell Rp825 to Rp17,050 and PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) fell Rp775 to Rp36,225.
