Hasan Haikal Thalid, the Chairman of the Micro, Small and Middle Enterprises (SMEs) Forum of Bogor Regency, West Java, said that the AEC is not frightening. On the contrary, AEC is an opportunity to increase the quality of workers and products.
"We have to prepare the products and human resources," mentioned Hasan in between the 1,000 Small-Middle Enterprises Meet Up at the Tegar Beriman Building, Cibinong, Bogor Regency, Thursday (12/17/2015).
SMEs in Bogor Regency have top tier products that have been well accepted abroad. The products are varied from foods to handicrafts.
"Our SMEs products have been exhibited in Brussels, The Hague and Paris. The products are capable to enter international market. Thus, AEC is not to be feared," mentioned Hasan.
Several SMEs in Bogor Regency have received advocacy regarding the AEC from local government. The optimism is also emerging through cross-sector cooperation.
"BPN with its regulations, banking with the capital, as well as the Small-Middle Enterprises special licensing from the government," he mentioned.
