JCI Slightly Strengthens

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) slightly strengthened today (12/23/2015) following government's plan to adjust fuel prices.
JCI on today's closing strengthened 5.08 points or 0.1 percent to 4,522 points. While LQ45 weakened 1.05 points to 778 points and JII weakened 2.35 points to 593 points.
The highest increase recorded by infrastructure sector with 4.72 points and consumer sector with 4.29 points. In contrary, mining sector decreased 1.37 points.
Transaction volume reached 2.4 billion shares worth Rp.6 trillion. 142 stocks increased, 138 stocks decreased and 91 stocks unchanged.
The top gainers were PT H M Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) rose Rp1.125 to Rp96,625, PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) rose Rp425 to Rp54,150, and PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) rose Rp275 to Rp22,450. 
While the top losers were PT Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (LPIN) fell Rp575 to Rp5,200, PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) fell Rp375 to Rp17,125, and PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) fell Rp325 to Rp36,650.
