Lion Air to Investigate Baggage-Theft Case

Metrotvnews.com, Tangerang: Soekarno Hatta Airport police arrested four luggage looters in Lion Air flights, Saturday, January 2, 2016. Some officials at the airline were suspected stealing valuable items from the luggage.
 
Their action was revealed by the CCTV recording. Police announced the four suspects have initials of A, A, M and S. According to testimony from S, their action were acknowledged by airline security personnel.
 
"The security gave us a code prior to action, when it was safe, we opened the suitcases," explained S, Sunday (1/2/2016).
 
Meanwhile, public relation of PT Lion Air, Andy Saladin mentioned his company currently holds internal investigation. He said Lion Air also cooperated with airport security and the police for the case.
 
"We investigate together, if it is proven the airline security is involved, then we will hand them over to the police, as it is the domain of the police," he concluded.
